International Vicious Society

- Doctor Zaz claims that The International Vicious Society idea begins one evening in 1961 when Laslo (Dutch and chemistry student) and Gersido (Italian and artist in general), meet for the first time in a party held by the London Medical School. They happen to meet right in front of the pick-up, and over there they share musical opinions and some homemade amphetamines. They end up being arrested for scandalous behaviour and it is behind bars where they decide to create an association for lovers of music an cheap thrills. Over the following months, them and half of dozen of boys and girls get together to organise their first parties in the refrigerator of an abandoned butchery.
One year after, when Laslo is sacked from University for using the lab to manufacture amphetamines and other strange drugs made from his own formulas, he decides to move to Paris to have a shot at being famous. Gersido joins him one year after and they form The International Vicious Society, with headquarters located in a room of the Grand Hotel at the "Place de la Contrescarpe". They paint a sheet with the acronym of the Society, suggested by the beautiful Amber (third member of the club,) and they hand it on one of the windows of the hotel façade for the three following years. During this period, many characters will come in and out of the society... such as Juanito, the Mexican Whirlwind; Olat, the Belgian Inventor (you can see him on the picture featured on the cover, seated at the table and wearing a mask), Mark, the dubliner guateque-man; Javi, the colossus of Roda; Incognito; Primitiva; Juanmex; Marciano; Belly; Ray; David; Erin; Machin; Bongusto; Dora; Brattini; and...
Those compilations include some of the records from all corners of the world that one could hear at these ritual and wild parties. A society in which fun was always guaranteed.

We are looking for a nice event with a clever public (like you reader) much more than good money and fresh grass. So if you know about a festival or a good spot for our circuit bending circus, you'll be kind enough to advice, leaving a message here.
The linocut engraving is already printed.
